Forum is a student-led literary journal committed to amplifying the contemporary, urban voices of City College of San Francisco (CCSF). As a platform for expression, Forum curates, edits, and publishes high-quality works of literature and visual arts created by members of the CCSF community. The publication is inclusive, welcoming submissions from current and former students, educators, and employees alike. In addition to celebrating the talents within the school, Forum also showcases select pieces from artists and writers in the wider Bay Area and beyond, fostering a broader creative dialogue while maintaining its roots in the diverse and dynamic CCSF community.

Created in collaboration with a fellow graphic designer Jelena Skracic. We played an integral role in shaping the magazine's visual identity. We explored and refined type pairings that complemented the content while maintaining readability and aesthetic appeal. Our focus was on creating a layout structure that balanced text and imagery, ensuring consistency and alignment across all pages while allowing for flexibility in design to keep the reader engaged.
The magazine cover on the other hand was a solo project. I brainstormed and executed various treatments to enhance the approved image, experimenting with color, texture, and placement to create a cover that would captivate the audience and reflect the magazine's creative vision. My goal was to establish a cohesive design language that unified the content and visual elements, resulting in a publication that was both visually engaging and reflective of its contemporary, urban audience.
